Circa 1920 Violin, possibly made in Germany/Bohemia, or Markneukirchen. Label reads Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1719 (label is a facsimile or reproduction, not necessarily intended to deceive, but may have been used to indicate model of violin). Top is made of spruce and back is of 2-piece maple. This violin would be a perfect option for a fiddler or violinist looking for an antique yet affordable instrument. Tone can be described as sweet, bright and clear.

Note: The action is very low on this violin (the string height from the fingerboard), making it very easy to play, and especially good for fiddling.
